From Stroke Survivor to Certified High-Performance Coach

I had 49 days to think and reflect on my second chance at life. I survived a major stroke—and during those 49 days, I asked myself: How am I going to live my life differently?

That experience gave me a new vision:
Be bold. Make an impact. Have fun. Bring the joy.

I knew I had to get off the Busy Bus and start living on the Purpose Plane. The Purpose Plane is quieter—more focused, less noisy, and aligned with why I’m here. It’s about purpose, not pressure. Direction, not distraction.

I began to activate what I used to see as setbacks—dyslexia and ADD—and instead saw them for what they truly are: my superpowers. They stopped holding me back and started fueling me forward.

I tapped into the four human drivers:
Aliveness. Connection. Meaningful Purpose. Personal Growth.

I began learning and applying the High Performance Habits:
Clarity. Energy. Courage. Productivity. Influence.

My daily practice of using GROWTHDAY™ became like a mental shower for motivation and mindset. Eventually, I hired a Certified High Performance Coach—and that changed everything. After going through my own transformation, I became a Certified High Performance Coach myself.

To this day, I still work with a coach. Why? Because I’m committed to becoming the best version of myself—for me, my family, and my community.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t need to go through a health crisis like a stroke to wake up.
You can begin living with purpose today.
