Meet Buck Buchanan — A Lifetime of Leadership, Service, and Impact

For more than four decades, Buck Buchanan has built a remarkable career grounded in leadership, service, and integrity. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Buck moved to Atlanta to begin his professional journey with Greyhound Lines — where his drive and work ethic quickly earned him three promotions in just four years.

In 1980, Buck shifted industries, joining Sto Corporation, a leader in construction products. Over 15 years, he rose from sales representative to vice president, serving on the management team and helping shape the company’s growth. His expertise and reputation led him to Parex USA in 1996, where he held several key leadership roles. As vice president of the Façade Division, he guided the team through both rapid growth and economic challenges, overseeing sales that exceeded $100 million. By 2014, he was promoted to senior vice president, managing international development, acquisitions, R&D, and more — until his retirement in 2017.

That same year, Buck founded Buchanan Business Consulting LLC, using his 40 years of industry knowledge to help companies strengthen leadership, sales, and strategy.

Beyond business, Buck has been a true industry servant, leading organizations such as EIMA, SMA, and AIS, and speaking at numerous industry events. His commitment to excellence extends to his community as well — serving as a deacon and elder in the Presbyterian Church, a longtime Rotarian, and a high school baseball coach.

Buck is also a published author, with three books — First and Thirty, The Game of Sales, and Behind the Walls — available at booksbybuck.com.

Married to his high school sweetheart, Cindy, Buck treasures family, faith, and the opportunity to keep inspiring others to build with purpose.
