Meet Leonard Abbott

Founder & CEO of It’s Cool to Care, Inc.

For Leonard Abbott, caring isn’t just a job — it’s a calling.

With over 15 years of leadership experience across sales, finance, and operations, Leonard has led at every level — from managing a $40 million retail store for Best Buy to advising 17 franchise locations for SkyZone and Rockin’ Jump. Yet, through all his success, one truth guided him: life is about serving others.

Holding a B.A. in Accounting from Randolph-Macon College and a Master’s in Health Administration from Utica University, Leonard combined his business expertise with compassion. As a licensed Med Tech and Certified Nursing Assistant in Georgia, he’s served in long-term care communities where he saw firsthand the emotional and physical needs of older adults.

In 2013, Leonard founded One Change at a Time, a nonprofit that connects youth volunteers with older adults through recreational and social health programs. That experience inspired his next mission — creating It’s Cool to Care, Inc., a brand that makes caring not only meaningful but cool.

Leonard’s faith fuels his purpose: “God established a purpose in me to help those who can’t help themselves.” His vision is to help people overcome obstacles, age gracefully, and live with joy and dignity.

At It’s Cool to Care, members aren’t clients — they’re family. Through customizable care services and intergenerational programs, Leonard’s team focuses on social health first, believing that connection and happiness drive true wellness.

His goal is simple yet powerful: to rejuvenate senior care through compassion, creativity, and community — one “cool” act of care at a time.
