Meet Steve Ivory
President, Rotary Club of Peachtree City
For over 20 years, Steve Ivory has been a dedicated Rotarian and passionate community leader. Since joining the Rotary Club of Peachtree City in 2001, sponsored by then-President Donna Turner, Steve has embodied the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self.” He has served in nearly every leadership role — from Club Treasurer and Vice President to GRSP Host Family — always leading with heart and purpose.
As Club President during the challenging 2020–2021 Rotary year, Steve guided the club through the pandemic with creativity and resilience. His leadership helped the club innovate meeting formats, keep members connected, and achieve a remarkable 254% increase in Foundation giving. Following his presidency, Steve continued serving as an Assistant Governor, supporting other clubs under District Governors George Granade and Andre Marria.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in Physical Sciences, Steve served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Gulf War veteran, retiring as a Major in the Marine Corps Reserve. He earned his MBA from Georgia State University and later retired as Director of Quality at Eaton, where he received the prestigious Stover Community Service Award for his outstanding volunteerism.
Beyond Rotary, Steve serves on the board of Southside Support, Inc., mentors students through REACHGA and Georgia Tech OMED, and supports the Naval Academy as a Blue and Gold Officer.
Steve and his wife of 31 years, Anna, share a passion for service and leadership. Together, they’ve raised two daughters, Kayla and Claire, who continue their family’s legacy of care and compassion.
